Founded in 1990, Blackhawk Security & Investigations Inc. is family owned. We began in Rochester, NY when our founder Joao “John” Nobrega, a Rochester Police Officer, offered security services to a local bingo hall. The business grew to include retail and over 35 years latter we are the largest minority, woman owned security firm in Western New York.
